On February 12 between 5pm and 8pm, famous comic book artist Neal Adams will be signing at local Morris Park comic book store THE LAIR, located at 1808 Colden Avenue.
Neal Adams, a native New Yorker, is among the most recognized artists of the comic book silver age, cultivating a naturalistic style and creating definitive modern imagery of DC Comics characters, including Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern. A legend in his field, Adams was inducted into the Eisner Award’s Will Eisner Hall of Fame in 1998 and the Harvey Awards’ Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1999. Neal Adams’ influence is widely recognized today, with such renowned artists as Alex Ross commenting that “he changed comics forever”.
Since opening it’s doors in 2006 by owner Jorge Rodriguez, THE LAIR has since provided customers with weekly released comic books as well as statues, figures and apparel. In addition, THE LAIR has also been an active exhibitor at the New York Comic Con and its friendly staff has developed a good reputation and relationship with the community.
