There will be 630 athletes from seventy-four teams coming from fourteen states to compete in this weekend’s 2014 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships at the Armory on 168th Street in Manhattan. Monroe College is the host of the meet.
Preliminaries are all day Friday from 3:00pm-10:00pm and the finals in each event will be from 12:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday. The opening ceremonies will be at 12:00pm on Saturday.
Here’s a story about Monroe’s team of twenty-six athletes who will comnpete, including the top-ranked 1000m runner, Ronaldo Ball from Staten Island.
