Two of my favorite things are the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Fifth Avenue and politicians bringing humor into the public conversation and alleviating tension, trying to establish common ground in a multicultural urban community.
So, Mayor De Blasio is 1 for 2 today I suppose? But I kid, I kid 🙂 (Shout out to Bronx Democratic activist Chaim Goldstein, who chose to stand with pride at yesterday’s Bronx parade.)
As does the Mayor and Boardwalk Empire star/De Blasio’s former Park Slope neighbor Steve Buscemi, in this promotional piece for the upcoming show of The Inner Circle, an American parody group made up of seasoned reporters, bloggers, web journalists, and television and radio personalities. It hosts an event every year in March at the New York Hilton which raises money for local charities, and each year the show has a different theme. There is a strict “No Professional Talent” rule.
