I am sad to report that a dear good friend and hero of mine, Bill Twomey (2nd from left) has passed away. He was one of the first people to get me addicted to Bronx History and learning more about my neighborhood. He was in failing health for the past few weeks; it was painful to see him suffer but he doesn’t have to suffer anymore. Thank You Bill (fellow Con Ed guy as well) for enabling my Bronx History addiction…you will forever live in every bit of research I do on our amazing Borough.
