A Night Of Music And Photography On BronxTalk This Evening

Tonight, BronxTalk with Gary Axelbank will feature two great culture creators borne of the borough, visual artist  Joe Conzo  and percussionist.

Conzo is considered arugably the worlds greatest and first hip hop photographer.  He is quoted in a 2005 New York Times article on his life as saying, “‘I’ve been blessed,” he said. ‘I always knew I had a treasure trove of photos. Now I’m being called the first hip-hop photographer. I’m not interested in titles, but yeah, I was there at the beginning.'”

Bobby Sanabria is a is a 7x Grammy nominated drummer, composer, arranger, producer, documentary film, educator and writer specializing in Latin jazz and Jazz. He has also been a consultant, on air personality and/or producer on several award winning, critically acclaimed documentaries.
