Century 21/Super Sprowtz Launch – M.S. 129 Bronx

This morning Century 21 Department Store helped launch Super Sprowtz salad bars in 100 NYC schools in conjunction with the NYC DOE. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place at M.S.129 in the Bronx with special guest attendees;

Century 21 Department Stores funded the initiative for the launch of the first 100 salad bars. The launch is based on a study conducted by Super Sprowtz, in partnership with Cornell University’s Food and Brand Lab and the NYC Department of Education in 2013, showed a 250% increase in children consuming vegetables as a result of adding the Super Sprowtz interactive media center into lunchrooms.
