30th Annual Veterans Parade Honors Those Who Serve and Those Who Serve Veterans

Bronxites and veterans gathered at the 30th annual Veterans Day Parade today in Throgs Neck.

Every year the parade honors veterans and those currently serving in the military. However, this year also paid tribute to those who dedicated their time to assisting veterans and their families.

This year’s grand marshals were the founder of The Never Forget Foundation, Gene Lynch, Johnnie Williams, veterans advocate and author, and communications director for the James J. Peters VA Hospital, Jim Connell.

The Bronx Chronicle would like to thank those who served our country and veterans everywhere for their service.
