The Bronx Chronicle mourns the passing of friend Filippo Ferron.

An admirably self educated member of the Morris Park Community Association, and the Committe Chair of its senior garden, he passionately served the community that he so loved through the growth and cultivation of not only the green space, but the sense of purpose and peace that it provided.
His mild demeanor in teaching how to reap the most from our fertile Bronx land was respected and admired by his fellow senior gardeners, all of whom remember him as a studious and passionate teacher and friend.
His devotion, dedication & honesty will be missed by everyone who knew him, Bronxites and all.
He was gentle, extremely patient, and a pleasure to all whose lives he touched.
Rest In Peace, Filippo.
