College Goal NY – Sunday, February 1st – Herbert H. Lehman HS

The beginning of the year marks the start of the Financial Aid season. For the 7th consecutive year, Herbert H. Lehman High School will host College Goal NY – A FAFSA Completion Event<http://www.collegegoalny.org> (CGNY) on Sunday, February 1st.

1.  High Schools across New York State are asked to encourage students to visit the CGNY website and click on Event Locations<http://collegegoalny.org/event-locations> to register for CGNY.
2.  After completing the online registration students and parents should click on the Get Started section and select How to Prepare<http://collegegoalny.org/get-started/how-to-prepare> and What to bring<http://collegegoalny.org/get-started/what-to-bring> for CGNY.
3.  Five (5) participants will receive a $ 500.00 College Access Challenge Grant for completing their online financial applications @ College Goal NY.

Annually the Bronx College Goal NY event registers the largest number of completed FAFSAs. Due to the support of Principals, Counselors & Parent Coordinators, we are able to help many students pay for college.
