While Bronx Community Board #10 initially fought DHS – Department of Homeless Services – against turning the former Capri Motel into a homeless shelter, the community is now in an uproar against sex offenders being moved in with NO community notification! The community considers this absolutely unconscionable and will fight this with everything they have.
