SENATOR KLEIN TO BE HONORED BY JACOBI MEDICAL CENTER FOR INNOVATIVE STAND UP TO VIOLENCE PROGRAM

Special Recognition for Senator Klein in Establishing SUV Program in the Bronx

 

BRONX, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx-Westchester) will be honored for his outstanding commitment to and continued funding support for the Stand Up to Violence (SUV) Program at the 2015 North Bronx Healthcare Network Legislative Forum on Friday February 13th at 8:30 AM at Jacobi Medical Center.

 

The SUV Program is an innovative violence prevention program that deploys “violence interrupters” into targeted high-crime areas across the Bronx. SUV is administered in partnership with Jacobi Medical Center and Fellowship Tabernacle Church.
