Assemblyman Crespo Joins W.E.S.D.A and Local Teens To Raise Awareness
Of Teen Dating Violence
Last Friday, Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo joins W.E.S.D.A. for a one-day workshop to empower young women and bring awareness of healthy and unhealthy relationships as well as noticing signs that they may be in a domestic violence situation.
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Many young people enter into unhealthy/unsafe relationships and fail to notice. The event was an opportunity for youth to be educated, empowered and prevent teen dating violence.
