Spring is upon us and it is time to change our clocks again. Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8th. Annually, the FDNY uses this opportunity to promote our ‘Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries’ campaign, which reminds New Yorkers to check and change the batteries in their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. It’s quick and easy, and it saves lives.
We’d like your help in raising awareness of our ‘Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries’ campaign, by promoting battery distribution events in your community as well by making people aware via social media.
