Incident;
On 03/04/2015 @ 7:44 PM, a fire occurred at 701 Van Nest Ave, a 2 story Vacant Private Dwelling Building. There was a Structural Fire located on the 1st Floor. Upon arrival units found fire on the 1st floor. E-90 hooked line up to hydrant, stretched 1 3/4″ line and extinguish fire. E-97 assisted E-90 with stretching hand line and provided relief. E-48 stretched back-up line to 2nd floor. L-54 forced entry, searched and checked extension, performed primary and secondary searches. L-32 perform primary and secondary search and check extension on floor above. Units were unable to determine the cause of the fire and requested the response of the fire marshal.

3. 4 Engine Companies
4. 3 Ladder Companies
5. 1 Rescue Company
6. 1 Squad Company
7. 1 Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance
8. 1 Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance (Paramedics)
9. 1 EMS Duty Officer
There were 6 firefighter injuries.
The fire was placed under control at 8:36 PM.
