MOISES MARTINEZ Martinez is charged with 2nd Degree Murder and 1st Degree Manslaughter in the killing of his wife, NYPD traffic agent Yajaira Reyes. Martinez allegedly restricted his wife’s breathing causing her death. Reyes’ body was found stuffed into a trash can in the couple’s Walton Avenue apartment.

JOSE OCASIO AND JOSEPH MURPHY Ocasio and Murphy were found guilty of 3rd Degree Attempted Assault and 2nd Degree Harassment for the February 18th, 2011 assault of 17-year-old Tyre Davis. Both defendants got into a heated exchange with the teen whom Ocasio booked on a disorderly conduct summons. The verbal exchange got physical as the officers followed Davis out of the precinct into an alley opposite 210 E. 181st Street, where they were caught on surveillance punching and kicking the teen, or giving the teen a “tune-up” as the assault is colloquially referred to.

HILDA CASTANEDA Castaneda is facing charges of 2nd Degree Vehicular Assault, 3rd Degree Assault and several counts of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drug for the 2014 Christmas morning crash into a bus shelter at Williamsbridge Road & Pierce Avenue, seriously injuring an innocent bystander.

MATTHEW COLEMAN Coleman is facing charges of 2nd Degree Murder and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon for the March 4th, 2015 death of Eusebio Martinez. Coleman allegedly entered the victim’s Williamsbridge Road apartment along with two other unapprehended accomplices, shot Martinez in the head, and subsequently stole some of the victim’s belongings.

Found guilty at a two week trial, Former Goldman Sachs computer technician Sanchez will be sentenced on the charges of 2nd Degree Murder and 4th Degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon for the November 2nd, 2011 death of Stephen Mari, a local drug dealer. 35 dollars short and desperate to feed his raging drug habit, Sanchez lured Mari into an alleyway near Parkchester and shot him eight times, hitting him and killing him with six of those bullets.
