Join Us for Fordham Fever Fridays 2015!

Fordham Road BID continues its outdoor programming every first Friday of the month @ Muller Park & Plaza

On May 1, 2015 (Bronx, NY) – The Fordham Road Business Improvement District (BID) continues its Fordham Fever Friday’s series beginning on Friday, May 1st from 12PM5PM at Muller Park & Plaza (East Fordham Road & Creston Avenue). For the month of May the theme is “Vibrant Fordham: Spring Fling event.”

Join us for a unique day of culturally diverse, fun-filled activities revolving around the beautiful season of spring and all it has to offer us. Shoppers can take a break from bargain hunting and bring the family to see stunning artwork and hear some lovely poetry. Much of the artwork and/or paintings will be brought by the children of local organizations such as 1199SEUI Child Care Corp, local artist Aleathia Brown with her original artworks, and Matthew Silvera, aka “Matt the Violinist.” Also, there will be an appearance by Dancers Dreamzz– a dance Studio who has been teaching children and teens to dance since it opened in 2000, serving hundreds of children over the years. Lastly, local Bronx Residents have a chance to learn how to plant spring blossoms and even try it themselves!

This event is brought you to by the Fordham Road BID and produced by Marketing & Advertising Solutions Inc. (MAS).  Special thanks to this year’s sponsors: Healthfirst, Councilmen Ritchie Torres and Fernando Cabrera.  For more information about this event or any of our other programs or services, please contact the BID office at (718) 562-2104 or visit our website at www.fordhamroadbid.org.  Additionally, follow the BID on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/FordhamRoadNYC &twitter at https://twitter.com/Fordhamroad_nyc and view the event dedicated website www.fordhamfeverfridays.com.
