Bill Carey, the longtime television journalist who was a fixture in Central New York for decades, has died. He was 61.

 

Carey, a senior reporter with Time Warner Cable News, had been in the intensive care unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where he was being treated for lung cancer. [Via syracuse.com]
