Monroe College Students at White House

On Wednesday July 29, 21 students from Monroe College’s School of Criminal Justice visited the White House and received a full tour. During their visit, for which each student was required to gain full clearance, they were able to interact with Secret Service agents and reconcile much of what they had learned in the classroom, and through Pre-Law Club, about the Executive Branch.
The trip provided valuable learning experience for the students and certainly underscored Monroe’s emphasis on real-world, hands-on education.
