The Southern Blvd. BID, in conjunction with Marketing & Advertising Solutions Inc. (MAS) & Casita Maria-Center of Arts & Education presented: “Music on the Boulevard” on Saturday August 22nd from 12pm-6pm. This concert was the second annual for the Southern Blvd area and was hosted by Yamilet Mia and Artie Rodriguez from Artie and Legit. It took place on Southern boulevard bet. E. 163rd street and Westchester Ave. Not to mention, our surprise guest host, Candela rocked the stage and had the crowd cheer as he sang the well-known Puerto Rican song: “Que Bonita Bandera!” Hosts engaged with the audience from beginning to end and flung WWE T-shirts into the crowd in between songs.

Let’s not forget the complimentary giveaways of back-to-school materials for all children! Additionally, BX furniture raffled off a 40” flat screen TV to a lucky winner.
