Bronx Fashion Week Returns 9/17

Bronx Fashion Week returns on September 17, 2015 at the new Bay Plaza Mall in Co-op City from 4-9 PM. The event is in collaboration with Eat NYC and the first Bronx Food & Wine Festival will benefit the Food Bank for New York City.

The Bronx Food & Wine Festival charity event begins promptly at 5 PM.  Proceeds from that event will benefit the Food Bank for New York City. Caridad De La Luz aka ”La Bruja” hosts a fashion showcase introducing the best in Avant Garde and Couture. On the Upper Level of the Mall at Bay Plaza, Baron Ambrosia, “The Culinary Ambassador of the Bronx,” will host samplings of food & beverages from the best chefs, restaurants, distilleries, breweries & wineries in New York City.

Puerto Rican designer Nixarelis Matos is showcasing for the first time in New York City at Bronx Fashion Week. Ms. Matos is paying for her own trip and is showcasing her best designs at her Bronx premiere.

General Admission tickets grant admission to the two-hour fashion event which begins promptly at 7 pm. Beats provided by DJ Vic will set the tone for an evening to remember as the finest designs in Avant Garde and Couture, also hosted by La Bruja.
