On Monday, October 5, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. visited Riverdale Senior Services in Spuyten Duyvil to discuss his office’s ongoing initiatives and his trip to Israel earlier in the year. Roughly 200 seniors who use the center attended the lunchtime discussion, during which Borough President Diaz thanked them for their commitment to their community and the borough as a whole.

“There was a time when people were leaving The Bronx,” said Borough President Diaz. “You stayed, and we are grateful for that.”
