Tech Summit at Fordham University Will Bring Bronx Talent Into Focus

logo_btic_rectangle_1Tomorrow, Fordham University, with the Bronx Technology Innovation Coalition (BXTIC), will be hosting its “4th Annual Summit on Technology in The Bronx.”  The summit looks to bring Bronx Technology startups across multiple sectors into focus, highlighting the wide breath of talent being fostered in our borough.

Teresita Abay Krueger, co-founder os the BXTIC, feels that, in addition to highlighting  local talent, The Bronx can become a home for entrepreneurs looking for a viable  location to build their innovative solutions.

This may come as a bit controversial to some, especially in light of other technology ventures in the area and their head-butting with local populations.  However,  she asserts that the summit is a glimpse into a bright future for all of the Bronx’s young minds.

“This summit serves as a forum for those of us in The Bronx, to connect, collaborate and continue the technology-driven innovation that is shaping the future of this borough. The Summit gathers students, academic instructors, local government policy-makers, entrepreneurs and partners, crucial to the continued success by allowing us (BTIC & Fordham University center for Digital Transformation) to deliver the inspiration and the actionable experiences to the community.”
