Klein Donates Thousands of Shamrock Cookies to Parade Marchers In Honor of St. Patrick’s Day

BRONX, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester), together with Councilman James Vacca (D-Bronx) joined the 2016 Grand Marshals Noreen and David Kilkenny, and Honored Clergy Member Reverend Christopher J. Devron, S.J. for the 18th Annual Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s  Day Parade in The Bronx this past Sunday. The day began with mass at St. Benedict’s Church and was followed by the community’s annual St. Patrick’s Day breakfast. The parade kicked off at the corner of East Tremont and Lafayette Avenues at noon. During the parade, Senator Klein handed out nearly 3,000 shamrock cookies to marchers and parade revelers.
