On Monday April 11th, 2016 Mayor de Blasio today met with Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ditmir Bushati; and Ambassador of Albania to the United States, Ms. Floreta Faber as part of the Administration’s efforts to strengthen its connection to the Albanian community. Mayor de Blasio was joined by the Commissioner for the Office for International Affairs Penny Abeywardena and State Assemblymember Mark Gjonaj.
