U.S. Small Business Administration will be in Morris Park on July 7th to talk with Small Businesses
U.S. Small Business Administration (“SBA”) representative Man-Li Lin is coming to the Morris Park Section of the Bronx to discuss how the SBA helps to start, build and grow businesses. Ms. Man-Li Lin is an Economic Development Specialist& District International Trade Officer at the SBA’s New York District Office. She also manages their Emerging Leaders Program, an executive-level intensive entrepreneurship training initiative now in its 8th year. Graduates in the Emerging Leaders Program have secured more than $1 billion in government contracts and accessed $73 million in new financing.
This event is being hosted by Samuel Anthony, CEO of ArrowPoint Tax Services Inc. “It is important for small business to know about the resources available to support them and help them grow. The Bronx has a vibrant small business community and I want to do my part to help strengthen that community. The event takes place on July 7, 2016 from 1:30PM to 7PM. Ms. Man-Li Lin will be there from 2PM to 4PM to discuss starting and growing with SBA’s financing, business counseling and government contracting assistance. Mr. Anthony will discuss why it’s important for small business owners to understand accounting basics to gain a thorough understanding of the financial health of their business.
