The Huntington Free Library and Reading Room is pleased to invite the public to a free arts and entertainment closing program Friday September 30th 7:30 pm, Photograph exhibit of “Dreams & Reflections” a recent work of photographer John Maney, Jr. In addition, local area poets will be presenting their work, before the closing of the exhibit.
John Maney, Jr. has been interested photography since high school. He furthered this interest while attending Macalester College, where he was one of his school’s official photographers.
John is currently better known for his poetry, which has appeared in many journals, and anthologies. Over the last several years he has also created the popular Finding Your Voice Newsletter.
Each photograph in the “Dreams & Reflections” Exhibit contains a metaphor, some more than one. Some photographs are more surrealistic, while others seem to be straight forward.
Free wine, soda, and chips will be served.
