Sat. Oct. 8, 1 PM
Join us for a performance by the acclaimed Bob Arthurs Jazz Trio, and help us welcome a new schedule of opening on Saturdays in the fall from 9 AM to 5 PM

Monday, Oct. 10, Columbus Day recognition. The site is open, regular hours, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a 1 PM presentation the history of Columbus Day and ongoing children’s crafts projects related to the holiday.

Tuesday, Oct. 11, 10 AM, Tour of Pell’s Point Battlefield: a walking tour of the Split Rock Golf Course, Pelham Bay Park, site of the Rev. War battle. Call 914-667-4116 for reservations.

Fri., Oct. 14, 7 PM, Candlelight Tour & Historic Music Program

Tour the historic cemetery by candlelight, visiting the graves of soldiers and civilians who lived through the American Revolution; hear a performance of 18th century music by Linda Russell & Companie, in the historic Church; refreshments served.

Sat. Oct. 15, 10 AM to 4 PM, Battle of Pell’s Point Encampment
An encampment that commemorates the nearby 1776 Battle of Pell’s Point. It includes talks on the American Revolution, musket firing and militia drill, period music and dancing, crafts and cooking, historic children’s games and toys, with dozens of costumed re-enactors representing the armies that fought in the Revolutionary War.

A performance of early American music — instrumental, vocal and historical narrative — by Peter Daniel Walker.

Sat., .Oct. 29, 1 PM
On the eve of Halloween, at one of the nation’s oldest cemeteries, learn about the History of Funerals through a talk by Nancy Coffey, professor at the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, and director of a Westchester funeral home.

Sat., Nov. 5, 1 PM
St. Paul’s and the Presidents: A presentation exploring the interesting & varied connections to St. Paul’s of five Presidents, from Washington to F.D.R.

Fri., Nov. 11,
Veterans Day Commemoration
Join us for an 11 AM ceremony commemorating Veterans Day, followed by tours recalling the stories of soldiers buried in the historic cemetery. At 2 PM, guest organist Andrew J. Peters performs a special ‘Salute to Veterans’ concert on the historic 1830 Erben pipe organ.

Learn about the French and Indian War, 1754-1763, through a presentation by author and SUNY Purchase Professor Laura Chmielewski

Sat. Nov. 19, 1 PM
The rhythmic sounds of Latin Jazz Guitar music fill the historic church, in a performance of covers and originals by Ricardo Gautreau and Doug Munro.

Fri. Nov. 25, 1 PM
In recognition of Thanksgiving, a performance, and sing-along, of songs that chronicle American history, from
colonial times through the 20th century, with historical commentary.

Sat. Nov. 26, 1 PM
Enjoy an hour of classical music, performed by Daniel Conant.

All events are free; refreshments served.
