Photographers, like Bronx Chronicle freelance contributor, David Greene never know what amazing or bizarre scene they will encounter on each day. Case in point — this man who was discovered recently with half his body deep inside a used clothing dumpster at E. 180 Street in the Van Nest section.

The unidentified man appeared not to be trying to get himself some warm clothes for the winter, but a profiteer who had gathered about a dozen pairs of shoes and sneakers destined for the poor and needy. Apparently, he thought he could score some free items to sell on the street, thereby creating a profitable small business for himself.

The dumpster diving man appeared to wedged inside that Van Nest used clothing bin.
