Winter Recess Resource for Parents: Activities, Events for Kids on Growing Up NYC

As you know, NYC Public Schools close for winter recess, leaving parents with the task of finding fun and constructive ways to keep kids occupied. I want to let you and your readers know about Growing Up NYC, a mobile-configured, one-stop-shop website that New York City launched this fall. It contains information, events, and activities updated daily to help New York parents raise a family in the best and busiest City in the world.

Just in time for the holiday break, parents can use Growing Up NYC to find a host of City-approved, age-appropriate winter events for kids ages 0-12, including fun winter/holiday-themed events plus story time, game nights, arts and crafts-making, homework help and more.
