Hundreds of Norwood residents turned out for the annual re-enactment of the way of the cross on Friday, April 14. Beginning at Webster Avenue and East 204 Street and ending on East 207 Street, actors portrayed the Roman soldiers and Jesus Christ, leading up to Christ’s crucifixion. A larger crowd this year was due in part to the closure of St. Ann’s Parish that merged with the Church of St. Brendan’s in 2015.
