Bronx, NY – Senator Jeff Klein on Saturday announced $172,000 in state funding that he secured for Castle Hill Little League. The announcement was made during the league’s opening day ceremony. The grant will be used for a variety of field upgrades, including lighting and outfield improvements, fencing repairs and the replacement of field maintenance equipment.
“I’m happy to secure $172,000 in funding for Castle Hill Little League. Our young Bronx baseball players deserve top-notch field conditions and these funds will go a long way to ensure their needs are met,” said Senator Jeff Klein.

Senator Klein’s efforts to secure $172,000 in funding for the much needed repairs and renovations to our ballfield is a shining example of his commitment and dedication to the children of our community,” said Castle Hill Little League President, Christy Martinez.
