Mayor Ends Week in Bronx with Visit to Bronx House, Orchard Beach

Mayor Bill de Blasio capped off his week-long visit to the Bronx, titled, “City Hall in Your Borough,” on Friday, May 26. While working out of the Bronx County Courthouse, de Blasio hosted a resource fair and a town hall meeting in Soundview. De Blasio also paid a visit to Bronx House on Pelham Parkway, where he spoke to seniors about taking advantage of special tax credits available to them. The mayor wrapped up his week long visit with a trip to Orchard Beach, where he announced a $50 million plan to restore the shuttered pavilion.
