Today at 5pm, the city Department Health and Mental Health is hosting a ribbon cutting for the Mural Arts Project, which is bringing two mental health murals to the Bronx. Commissioner Dr. Mary T. Bassett will be there, along with muralist Tova Snyder, community partner VIP Community Services, and C.S. 211 Principal Tanya Drummond, to make remarks.

From November 2016 to July 2017, organizations and individuals in Tremont have worked together to create a mural representative of a vision for their community’s mental health.

Bronites are invited to celebrate this collaboration at our ribbon-cutting ceremony.
