On Monday November 6th at 11am which will be a panel discussion with subject matter experts and practitioners on “Child/Youth Mental Health, Emotional Wellness, Trauma and Suicide” at Metropolitan College of New York, Bronx Campus,  463 E 149th St., Bronx, NY, 10455 (take # 2/5 train to 3rd Avenue and 149th St.. Building is down the block). This is a very serious growing challenge and concern as more children and youth are affected by crisis, violence, abuse, victimization, trauma and emotional pain across the board and not enough attention being put on it until too late. We have some awesome panelists who are leaders in the field and will be discussing the topics with us. The panel will focus on the latest trends, behaviors, triggers, response, intervention, prevention, postvention and resources for children and youth so providers, practitioners, parents, families and advocates can know how to assist those struggling with them. Join us in this very important dialog to learn more, share experiences and expertise, and promoting available resources and programs aimed at raising awareness to help those who are hurting, struggling and suffering from life, mental health/illness challenges and conditions, and trauma. Let’s be proactive in these critical times of human suffering, disasters, despair and pain.
