600 Enjoy Spook-Fest at Oval
by David Greene
Parks Department officials say 600 youngsters and parents enjoyed a free, spooky fun-house experience at the Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center in Norwood on Friday, October 2. The recreation center was re-designed in a maze for the annual event, including strobe lights and volunteers dressed as ax murderers and zombies. The park opened in 1937, and is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places.
