Toy Drive to Benefit Bronx Youngsters

A TOY DRIVE TO BENEFIT BRONX YOUNGSTERS

BRONX — The Bronx Youth Empowerment Program is partnering with NYC Council Member Andy King to host its 11TH annual “Sharing is Caring” toy drive collection to benefit Bronx youngsters this holiday season.

Toys donated must be new and unwrapped for ages newborn to 18 and can be dropped off at Council Member King’s district office at 940 East Gun Hill Road, Bronx, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, now through December 21th. The toys will be distributed to youngsters at the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program’s 11th Annual Sharing is Caring Holiday Event on December 24th.

“Reaching out to our local families in need and bringing fun and excitement to the children is just another way to say ‘we care about you,’ said Council Member King of the “Sharing is Caring” holiday event.  “One of the greatest things you can do for the holidays is share.”

Last year, more than 700 children and their families attended the “Sharing is Caring” holiday event.
