Chairman Crowley Statement on Hanukkah
(Washington, D.C.) – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley (D-NY) released the following statement on the beginning of Hanukkah:
“Tonight, Jewish people in Queens, the Bronx, and all over the world will light menorahs to begin the celebration of Hanukkah. This festival of lights celebrates the enduring spirit of the Jewish people and the power of faith against all odds.
“I hope tonight and the next seven nights of celebration bring your families peace and joy. Wishing all who celebrate, Chag Sameach and happy Hanukkah!”
