Elected Officials Share Christmas Greetings

Wreath on Borough Hall. Happy Holidays!

“From my family to yours, Merry Christmas. I hope this day is filled with family, love, charity, and happiness.”
House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rep. Joe Crowley

“As we gather with family and friends this holiday, I ask all New Yorkers to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas – a season of giving and love.

I’d like to personally thank the generous individuals who have donated time or resources to charitable organizations and community initiatives so Christmas can be a little merrier for those less fortunate.

During this time of celebration and reflection, I hope you all have the opportunity to enjoy the company of loved ones near and far.

Please take a moment to embrace all the season has to offer, make memories your families will cherish for years to come and enjoy a peaceful holiday. On behalf of my entire family, I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas.”
— ASSEMBLY MINORITY LEADER BRIAN M. KOLB

Today is Christmas, and I hope you and your family are enjoying the holiday together. We’ve had another wonderful year in The Bronx, and I remain as proud as ever to serve as your borough president. My staff and I would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, a happy and healthy holiday season, and a prosperous new year.
— Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.

As we gather together with our families, friends, and loved ones, I want to wish all who are celebrating a Merry Christmas!

May you have a joyous and blessed holiday filled with hope and happiness. Happy Holidays!
— Letitia James, New York City Public Advocate

On Christmas Day, for those of us who are Christians around the world, we celebrate the birth of our risen Savior Jesus Christ and the love we experience through our faith in him. For most people around the world regardless of religious belief, the holiday is an opportunity to spend time with those we love in joyous celebration.

During this Christmas season, we reflect on the many blessings we’ve experienced in this past year, as well as the trials and tribulations that have challenged us and required us to grow.

As we take time to gather with loved ones please lift up in prayer and in action our Sisters and Brothers in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Barbuda, Dominican Republic, Houston and Texas. We in The Bronx, New York have much to celebrate and also more work to do for our people.

From my home to yours, I wish you all a Merry Christmas. May God Bless You as those of us who are believers continue to live out Christ’s love.
Assembly Member Michael Blake

Christmas brings loved ones together and reminds us of the many blessings in our lives. May your homes and hearts be filled with the love and joy of the season. To all those celebrating today, Merry Christmas!
