Bronx Community Board 7 hired a new district manager Ischia Bravo, and Community Board 8 is in the process of hiring a new district manager. Former CB 8 district manager Patrica Manning left at the end of 2016, and a new DM was hired in May 2017. It appears that the person that the selection committee chose hightailed it out of the board office a few months later, and a completely different selection committee is reviewing resumes this time.

While CB 8 received 54 applications to replace Ms. Manning, there were only 34 applications submitted the second time. The District Manager Selection Committee is meeting just two hours before the full Community Board 8 meeting. There was no mention of voting on a new District Manager or even a report from the DM Selection Committee on the January agenda which was sent out by CB 8.
