Crain’s is reporting
that HBO has leased a warehouse building in the South Bronx to produce the second season of The Deuce, a show about the Times Square pornography industry in New York’s grittier days.

Schanzer arranged the lease with HBO on behalf of the property’s landlord, a partnership between the Bluestone Group, Altmark Capital and Princeton Holdings.

An HBO spokesman confirmed that the 1970s-era show had leased the building but could not immediately describe how it would use the space.
