(Queens, NY) – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley (D-Queens, the Bronx) released the following statement on Asian Pacific American Heritage Month:

“During Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we pay tribute to the rich histories, cultures and contributions the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities have made to the United States. From science to the arts, our AAPI brothers and sisters have enriched and shaped Queens, the Bronx, and the rest of the country.

“I am proud to join the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus and my fellow Americans in this celebration and to reaffirm my commitment to elevate and promote opportunities for Asian Pacific American communities.”
