Cops say David Fennell, 46, of Bridgeport, CT., was traveling northbound on the Grand Concourse, when he struck a vehicle at East 173 Street at 11:20 a.m. on Friday, May 18. Fennell fled the scene, striking several vehicles as he continued northbound.

At East 175 Street Fennell struck a vehicle stopped at a red light, that propelled the stopped automobile into the crosswalk, where it struck a 73 year-old woman who was using a walker. The flattened walker was among the many items of debris that littered the roadway.
