U.S. ARMY VET CHALLENGING INCUMBENT FOR DEBATE

“Tolerance is the Key. Civility is the Lock.”

(New York, New York, August 12, 2018) Decorated U.S. Army veteran Eliot Raban who is the challenger on the Common Sense Party Line is now challenging 26-year incumbent Rep. Carolyn Maloney to a televised debate.

“My primary goal is unity, tolerance, camaraderie and compromise – to end the socioeconomic divisiveness in these United States. This problem could not be tougher to solve in an America that is, truly, the only heterogeneous country in the world.”

From Charleston, South Carolina, he graduated from The Citadel in 1964 with a B.A. in Political Science and Government. From there, he served in the United States Army for several years, prior to taking a different career path into the fashion industry and launching the 40-plus year business Peter Elliott.

“As a notable figure in the community, I’m a non-politician who will fight for what we need without any regard for personal gain or higher political aspirations. When asked to run, I decided to start a tributary line – the Common Sense Party – ‘because common sense makes sense.’”

He is very interested in sitting down with you to speak more in depth about his intentions to help New York City residents once he gets to D.C.
