There was a constant line of children down the block with more coming from all directions (estimated at well over one-thousand) waiting to get into the Kissmet Catering Hall on Westchester Avenue on Halloween. They were there to see their representative in Washington Congresswoman Alexandria Ocsio-Cortez.
However that was the day of the vote to begin impeachment hearings, there was heavy rain in Washington, and it would be traveling north to New York City. there was questions if the congresswoman would make it to her own Halloween party because of those circumstances.
The party began at four PM with no congresswoman. By five PM the congresswoman was still on the airport tarmac according to some of her staff. Upon seeing certain undercover police officers arrive I knew that Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez would soon arrive. She arrived shortly afterwards, coming in the side door. There were cheers, and lots of photo taking.
