Yankees Team-Building Activity at Steinbrenner Field

Earlier today at Steinbrenner Field, the Yankees held their final workout prior to the start of their spring exhibition schedule. Following the practice, they participated in their annual team-building activity, which was a 64-person ping pong tournament.

Yankees players, coaches, field staff and front office baseball operations personnel participated in today’s event with infielder Kyle Holder taking home the championship.

Manager  Aaron Boone addressed the team. The Championship match was between Dan Otero and Kyle Holder. Relief ace Aroldis Chapman and infielder Gleyber Torres faced off. Estevan Florial and team veteran Brett Gardner had a competitive match.

Kyle Higashioka, Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Hicks, Nick Tropeano, Tyler Wade, Josh Thole, Clint Frazier, Gary Sánchez, Chris Ianetta and Radley Haddad also were a part of the competition.
