I want everyone to know that there are no immigration questions on the Census and personal information won’t be shared with anyone- not immigration, not your landlord- no one. You can complete it online, in writing or even by calling on your cellphone.
This year is probably the most critical decennial Census in our lifetimes, with so much at stake for federal funding for education, healthcare, school lunches, affordable housing, business expansion and reapportionment of Congressional seats. The COVID-19 pandemic has made a complete count more important than ever. We’re in the home stretch for responding to the 2020 Census with a September 30th deadline. Stop by my district office, complete the Census and get free bookbags and school supplies for your kids. I’m asking everyone who hasn’t done so to complete the 2020 Census today. Let’s get a complete count and get the federal dollars we need and deserve.”
