The allegations against Billy Riley, if true, continue a very old pattern of Catholic leaders allowing vulnerable sexual abuse victims to be easy targets for coercive sexual predators.
For an independent investigation to take place, sexual abuse victims should always report the alleged coercive sexual abuse directly to the police department and not to the biased Diocese of Worcester.
