Marcus & Millichap Arranges the Sale of a 21-Unit Apartment Building in The Bronx

THE BRONX, N.Y., January 17, 2023 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a 21-unit apartment property located in The Bronx, New York, according to John Horowitz, first vice president and division manager of the firm’s Manhattan office. The asset sold for $2,700,000.

“This was the last of a 5-property portfolio that was owned and operated by the same family since the early 1980s,” said, Michael Fusco. Fusco, Binyamin Katz, Joe Koicim, and Seth Glasser, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a family run office. The buyer is a private investor, and local neighborhood operator. “The buyer is very optimistic in the Bronx and owns several other properties near this sub-market as well. This was a great deal for both the seller and buyer” said Binyamin Katz and Seth Glasser. The buyer was secured and represented by Binyamin Katz, Joe Koicim, Michael Fusco, Peter Von Der Ahe and Seth Glasser.

The asset is located at 160 West 231st Street. The property is walking distance to the 1 subway line and Metro North Station.
