Councilwoman Annabel Palma filed paperwork with the Federal Election to challenge longtime Congressman Jose Serrano in a primary in June.
“Right now I am looking forward to working with the new administration and the City Council leadership,” The Councilwoman told The Daily News. “But I am open to serving the Bronx in any way that I can.”
Petitions will begin to circulate next month for the primary election.
