For the second year, the Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care has been selected for the voting round of the LiveStrong Foundation’s Community Impact Project. The two hospitals with the most online votes in our region will win music therapy for pediatric and adult patients in Oncology for an entire year.
Please vote to bring the healing and soothing power of music therapy to our patients and share with your network. The voting is easy and takes just a minute. It is open to everyone regardless of location or affiliation—so please share widely with your colleagues, friends and family and post on your Facebook page!

Last year, because of your votes – over 3,200 of them – we won first place of 11 hospitals. This enabled us to hire an Artist-in-Residence to bring creative arts activities to Oncology patients. Thanks to Montefiore’s support, our wonderful Artist-in-Residence Maria Britton continues to engage patients in art-making while they receive chemotherapy treatment and at the bedside.
